iStudent Academy – Marketing Internship
The iStudent Academy Career Internship will mainly focus on exposing the Intern to marketing and brand promotion across KZN. The Intern will further be exposed to company policies and procedures, data management and other administrative roles involved in any working environment.
The Internship will be for 4 months, January – May 2017. There is potential for further permanent employment, based on performance and company available vacancies.
The hours will be Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm, and any additional hours for exhibitions. Overtime will be paid for any additional hours that exceed the normal 45 hour work week.
The Internship Stipend will be R5000 per month
Description of Position
Intern’s main responsibility will be to market and sell the brand of iStudent Academy and our courses, and proudly promote us as a Microsoft Partner, to Matriculated students and any other interested clientele, collect a database of interested learners from schools around KZN, and present our offerings in a positive and informative manner.
Intern will also be required to fulfill general administrative roles of a Marketing Rep and student advisor. This will include data capturing, liaising with schools and clients to make appointments, documentation delivery to prospective learners and other responsibilities allocated by the Departmental Manager.
Helping to create a positive learning atmosphere on Campus
Exercise general time management and organization skills to ensure smooth running of all on campus responsibilities.
Calendar management – booking meetings and exhibitions or presentations
Data capturing – Data from expos/schools, marks, attendance etc
Following up with potential students via CRM Database
CRM Database maintenance – calls backs, comment updates etc
Making appointments between students/parents and consultant
Bookings for workshops and open days
Sending interested learners information
Assist in getting students to register for our courses. Intern will work together with Career Consultant to register learners.
